In addition to being a member of the Perth USAsia Centre Board, Ms Deirdre Willmott is also a Board Member of Australia Post and Director of the Kimberley Foundation Australia.

Her previous executive roles included Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Commerce & Industry WA, Director External Relations at Fortescue Metals Group, General Manager of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee and Chief of Staff to the Premier of Western Australia.

Professor Flake and Ms Willmott discuss the history of Australia’s liquefied natural gas industry and relationship to Northeast Asia. Additionally, they talk about diversifying Australia’s trading relationships and export opportunities across the broader Indo-Pacific region.
