Shari Owen

Executive Assistant and Office Coordinator

Prior to joining the Perth USAsia Centre, Shari was Executive Assistant to the CEO and Managing Director for the Future Energy Exports CRC.

Shari commenced at UWA in November 2007 with the inception of the Energy Minerals Institute after more than 17 years in the resources sector, working with Alcoa and Woodside Energy.

During her time at UWA, Shari has worked in other roles supporting the Pro Vice-Chancellor Health and Medical Research and Pro Vice-Chancellor Engagement.

Shari has a strong background working around engagement with industry and government.
