Submission to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on AI-CECA negotiations

Australia and India have formally resumed negotiations on the Australia-India Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (AI-CECA), with plans to reach an interim deal by the end of 2021, ahead of a final agreement by the end of 2022.

The following submission to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on these negotiations was prepared by Perth USAsia Centre Research Director Dr Jeffrey Wilson and Policy Fellow Sonia Arakkal.
