Perth USAsia Centre and American Australian Association announce US Indo-Pacific Policy Fellowship

The Perth USAsia Centre and the American Australian Association (AAA) are delighted to launch the US Indo-Pacific Policy Fellowship, an annual exchange program open to Native Americans and First Nations Australians.

The two-to-three-month program will support one US fellow to complete an exchange to Australia in early 2024, and one Australian fellow to complete a reciprocal exchange to the United States in late 2024.

Applications for the inaugural US-to-Australia fellowship open 1 August 2023 and close 30 September 2023. The fellowship provides up to US$40,000 for US early-to-mid career academics or policy professionals to travel to  Australia, and undertake research and engagement on a policy issue affecting the Indo-Pacific. The successful applicant will be based at the Perth USAsia Centre.
