Indo-Pacific Perspectives on the US Presidential Election
Less than 24 hours after President-elect Joe Biden reached the important 270 vote milestone in the electoral college and secured his incoming position as the 46th President of the United States, Professor Gordon Flake was joined by Melissa Babbage, Chan Heng Chee, Dino Patti Djalal, Ichirō Fujisaki, and Suhasini Haidar to discuss national perspectives on the election result from across the Indo-Pacific. Their insightful discussion also includes recommended bilateral and regional priorities for the U.S. to strengthen its relations in the Indo-Pacific, and suggestions on what its role in the region should be over the coming four years.
