Manohar Thyagaraj
Manohar Thyagaraj has 19 years of strategic and thought leadership in Asian security. As a senior business executive, he has headed the offices of BAE Systems in Taiwan and South Korea and has worked extensively on US-India defense trade. He has a deep understanding of US and UK relationships with the region.
On behalf of BAE Systems, he also attended the Royal College of Defence Studies (RCDS), a UK Ministry of Defence run year-long strategic studies course in London for senior level military officers and civilians. He has a Masters in International Affairs from Marquette University and has spoken many times at international institutions on issues related to Asian security.
He is now Head of Strategy at Austal, where he brings this blend of experience in international business development, strategy and government relations to the role.
