Research Analyst

Hugo Seymour

Hugo Seymour is the Research Analyst at the Perth USAsia Centre, Perth’s strategic policy think tank. He develops policy towards and publishes on Western Australia and Australia’s engagement in the Indo-Pacific region, in particular Australia’s relationship with India and Indonesia. He contributes to the Centre’s foreign policy programs and events, engaging governments, private stakeholders and civil institutions.

Hugo has previously worked at Francis Burt Chambers in civil litigation as an assistant to the Barrister and has contributed to the advocacy work of the Welfare Rights & Advocacy Service. Hugo has volunteered with social justice and migration organisations, including the Australian Red Cross. Hugo holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Australia.
