The Perth USAsia Centre is hosting a roundtable discussion with Dr Heather Exner-Pirot, Senior Fellow and Director of Natural Resources, Energy, and Environment, at the Macdonald-Laurier Institute in Ottawa, Canada.
Canada and Australia share a strong and strategic partnership in the resources sector, built on mutual interests and rich natural resource endowments. In 2024, the two countries released a Joint Statement on Cooperation on Critical Minerals, in recognition of these shared values and a shared commitment to driving strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards in global critical mineral supply chains.
As our global economic environment becomes increasingly complex, this partnership will be vital. Join us for a discussion on the future of Canada-Australia resources cooperation.
