International Relations: Australia and the Indo-Pacific is an eight-week, fully online microcredential designed to introduce Year 11 and 12 students to the fundamentals of international relations and Australia’s role in the region.
Aimed at high school students across Western Australia, the course provides a strong foundation for those interested in global affairs, geopolitics and future pathways in international studies. It offers a unique opportunity for students to begin their university journey early through engaging, real-world learning structured at a university level.
Our information session will provide an overview of the course content, assessment structure and flexible online format, as well as the key benefits of completing the course — including the opportunity to earn WACE points, gain credit towards a University of Western Australia unit, and receive a Certificate of Achievement. Attendees will also gain insight into the expected study commitment and have the opportunity to ask questions.
This microcredential is delivered by the Perth USAsia Centre, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to better understand Australia’s strategic and economic relationships across the Indo-Pacific region.
