Japan Symposium – Nagoya Dialogue

Join the Perth USAsia Centre in Nagoya, Japan for a bespoke dialogue event on the future of the Australia-Japan energy partnership.
 
Amidst unstable commodity markets and global insecurity, Japan’s relationship with international partners becomes increasingly important for its energy security and net-zero targets. Australian LNG and coal exports are particularly important to Japan’s energy supply chains. Consternation surrounding Australia’s investment environment and climate policy requires innovative solutions from policymakers to ensure the longevity of this strategic relationship.
This dialogue event features Australian and Japanese energy experts, who will discuss the feasability of balancing Japan’s energy needs with Australia’s push towards divestment from fossil fuels.
