2026 Conference Overview
As WA expands its strategic importance across shipbuilding, autonomous systems, undersea capabilities and advanced technologies, IODS 2026 provides a platform for industry, Defence and government to align on the partnerships and investments required to deliver Australia’s future force.
Positioned at the strategic heart of the Indo-Pacific, Western Australia is uniquely placed to support Australia’s Defence objectives under the 2024 National Defence Strategy and AUKUS framework.
The three-day program features senior-level conferences and symposia, an international industry exhibition, delegation engagement, B2B networking, industry briefings, site visits, workforce development and careers programs.
Led by Defence West and anchored in Perth, the event reflects Western Australia’s central role in shaping Australia’s strategic defence framework.
