Brad Haynes has a career spanning both government and business commencing in AusAID in the Department of Foreign Affairs. He was an Adviser to the Foreign Minister, the Hon. Alexander Downer MP, on North Asia, Trade, Investment and Economic Issues and later was the Senior Adviser to the Minister.
In business he worked in Chevron across Australia, the United States, Middle East and Asia. He was on the leadership teams for Business Development and Gas and Midstream covering country risk management, legislative and regulatory issues, brand, stakeholder engagement and supported gas marketing, new ventures and business strategy teams.
Most recently he was Rio Tinto’s Vice President of Corporate Relations in Asia and then Australia and was on the Group’s senior leadership teams for Iron Ore, Australia and Corporate Relations. He has an M.Phil in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and has completed the General Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
