WA's Standing In the Local and Regional Energy Market

The Hon. Dr Mike Nahan MLA, the Western Australian Leader of the Opposition and former Treasurer and Energy Minister, and was hosted by the Perth USAsia Centre for a private roundtable luncheon on Western Australia's current and future standing in the local, national and regional energy market.
- The Hon. Dr Mike Nahan MLA is the Western Australian Leader of the Opposition, as well as the Shadow Minister for Public Sector Management; State Development; Jobs and Trade; Federal-State Relations.
- Western Australia's changing energy mix, electricity demand and unique place in the Australian market is of great importance to industry, consumers, households and policymakers.
- The importance of the State's major LNG projects, including North West Shelf, Pluto, Gorgon, Wheatsone, Prelune and Browse were all part of the discussion with Dr Nahan.
- Dr Nahan discussed Western Australia's competitive advantage in energy supply and security, as well as opportunities to engage our neighbours with energy exploration, production and management projects.
