Hugo Seymour is a Research and Program Assistant at the Perth USAsia Centre. He develops content and manages programs that focus on the Indo-Pacific region. Furthermore, he organises and promotes the Centre’s foreign policy events. Hugo has had numerous strategic affairs papers published through fellow Perth think tank, Future Directions International. He has previously worked at Francis Burt Chambers in civil litigation and has contributed to the advocacy work of the Welfare Rights & Advocacy Service. He has volunteered with social justice and migration organisations, including the Australian Red Cross. Hugo is completing his final semester of a combined Law and Arts undergraduate degree at the University of Western Australia. He also loves watching Roger Federer and listening to the 1990s indie-rock band, Pavement.
