The Honourable Dr Elizabeth Constable

The Honourable Elizabeth Constable was a Member of the Parliament of Western Australia from 20 July 1991 until her retirement on 9 March 2013.

Dr Constable held three ministerial appointments as Minister for Education (2008 to 2012), Minister for Tourism, (2008 to 2010) and Minister for Women’s interests (2008 to 2009).

Originally from Sydney, New South Wales, Dr Constable lived in Boston Massachusetts from 1970 to 1975 and is a graduate of Harvard University. The Constable family moved to Perth, Western Australia in 1975.
